We have provided independent assurance of EDF Energy's 2006 and 2007 sustainability performance reports.
In carrying out our assurance work, we have assessed the reports against the three key principles enshrined in the AA 1000 Assurance Standard of materiality, completeness and responsiveness. We have also provided recommendations for how EDF Energy could improve future reports.
Our work has involved extensive interviews with senior managers and providers of data and information, as well as visits to EDF Energy power generation sites.
These assurance assignments followed our earlier work for EDF Energy: we provided assurance of the first sustainability report produced by London Electricity, the precursor of EDF Energy.
